iCircuit is the premier iPad and iPhone app for designing and experimenting with circuits and Arduinos. Its advanced simulation engine can handle both analog and digital circuits and features realtime always-on analysis. It is the perfect companion to students, hobbyists, and engineers.
You use it as you would any CAD program: you add elements, connect them together, and set their properties.
But iCircuit is unlike other CAD programs because it is always simulating. It's just like working with the real circuit. You do not stop to take a measurement or spend a lot of time configuring reports. Instead, you just play with the circuit as you normally would, with the power on!
There are over 300 elements you can use to build your circuits. The app has everything from a programmable Arduino, to simple resistors, to switches, to MOSFETS, to digital gates.
The app features a multimeter that you use to probe around the circuit to instantly read voltages and currents. If you want to see how a value changes over time, then you can add values to the built-in oscilloscope. The scope can simultaneously track many signals over time and features a touch interface to control the total time displayed and stacked and unstacked modes to easily compare signals. The scope can also display the Fourier transform of any signal so that you can see the performance of filters.
Supported elements include:
• Programmable Arduino using a subset of the C programming language
• Programmable PIC controllers using assembly language or hex files
• Signal generators, Voltage sources, Current sources, and Dependent sources
• Resistors, Capacitors, and Inductors
• Manual SPST/SPDT and DPST/DPDT Switches, Push buttons, and Relays
• LEDs, Diodes, BJ Transistors, and MOSFETs, Thermistors
• Triodes and tetrodes
• Audio simulation with Speakers, Microphones, Buzzers, and LEDs
• DC Motors and Servos
• ADCs, and DACs
• Logic gates: AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR
• JK and D Flip-flops
• 180 digital ICs from the 4000 and 7400 series
• 78xx and LM317 voltage regulators
• 7-segment and matrix displays
• Antenna with simulated AM and FM signals

Probleme mit Bauteilen
Ich wollte einen Schwingkreis bauen und der Transistor funktioniert nicht wie das Bauteil funktionieren soll. Ich habe es auch mit einer anderen Simulationsprogramm verglichen und da hat es funktioniert. Die 15€ für die App sind wie aus dem Fenster geschmissen.

Bedienung nervt
Bedienung ist umständlich und nervig
Zu teuer
Wie mein Vorredner schon sagte ist die App viel zu teuer für das was sie mach. Dafür gibt es auch kostenlose Varianten die genau so gut funktionieren. Zudem fehlen Bauteile wie zb: ein simpler Optokoppler. Man kann sich für weiter 5€ noch andere Komponenten freischalten was ich bei dem Kauf preis von 15€ schon eine Frechheit finde
Pro features?
Finde es ziemlich frech dass man „Pro“ features kaufen kann nachdem man bereits 15€ für die App hingeblättert hat.. Das UI ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürfdig.
Ansich tolle Idee
An und für sich läuft die Anwendung stabil und flüssig. Um Schaltkreise zu veranschaulichen und in die Materie einzusteigen ist die App sicherlich gut geeignet, fürs Studium jedoch nicht angemessen. Leider kann die Anwendung mit Programmen wie LT Spice nicht mithalten, da es zum Beispiel ungenügende Möglichkeiten der Einstellung der Spannnungsquelle gibt (SV= sin / PULSE) Für den Preis ein bisschen Teuer.
Fühle mich veräppelt
Ich war bisher eigentlich ein Fan dieser App. Hatte mir natürlich auch die Vollversion gekauft. Nach dem letzten Update kam nun der Witz, dass man um alle aktuellen Funktionen nutzen zu können ein Abo abschließen muss. Nein danke, aber da bin ich raus. Würde für so eine Abzocke am liebsten 0 Sterne vergeben
Sehr gutes Tool zum Prototyping
Dieses Programm ist wirklich eine Perle im AppStore. Wird seit Jahren weiterentwickelt (es gibt auch eine Version für den Mac) und hat erst kürzlich ein sehr umfangreiches Update erfahren. Jetzt mit sehr umfangreicher Logic-IC Datenbank und Microcontroller-Optionen (allem voran natürlich der ARDUINO). 5 Sterne
Schon sehr gut aber nicht Fehlerfrei
Gute App, leider noch verbugt teilweise. Beim Zoomen passiert es manchmal das er auf einmal ganz nah ran zoomt und dann nicht mehr richtig raus zoomt sondern sich nur noch auf eine Ecke fokussiert. Nur ein beenden des Projekts schafft Abhilfe. Auch wäre es schön wenn man sehen könnte warum eine Sicherung geflogen ist. Ob durch Kurzschluss oder Überspannung.
