Upd. to latest version: No sound at all! iPad Air, iOS 7.1.2. The app lacks for some essential features: 1) "hammer on" and "pull off" switching on/off, 2) attack and release times adjustment, 3) other guitar techniques as "palm muting", 4) remembering settings of a last session. Upd.: Developer seems to be too lazy to make REAL improvements.

Hi. Can't load in to a hosts, as IAA instrument. Hosts: BeatMaker 2 and Cubasis. In both cases - long time loading icon, and then Error message. I has a iFretless Bass - this instrument loading OK. But no iFretless Guitar. Please, fix that

This app hits and misses. My first and utmost concern is that it keeps crashing after 5 minutes in audiobus3 or when being played with background audio on my iPad Pro 2022. Yes I have updated my iOS. Good sounds, not great, however missing guitar feel like guitar and sliding noises. Needs a lot of work to make this guitar app sound expressive and authentic. Barely 2 star rating. Avoid till developers address these important issues.

So after 5 years of neglect this finally gets AU3 support. Rebuilt from the ground up, they said. Then I tried to use it as an AU3 in AUM (one the most popular IOS music apps) and found that iFretless would not load. So I preloaded it and tried again. It still would not load. )-: Then I rebooted the iPad and tied again. AU3 still did not work under AUM. This is on a new iPad Pro with the latest IOS and latest AUM. Not impressed.

Not a great app for the money.

This and iFretless Bass are two of my favourite, most used music apps. However since the updates they haven't been working nicely with Audiobus, and sometimes as standalones. If I load the apps via Audiobus I get a blast of white noise that nearly takes the speaker out, and distorted graphics. If I load it up first, then load it into Audiobus it works some of the time, other times there's no audio at all, and this sometimes happens running the iFretless apps solo. I'm running an ipad 2 iOS 7.1, and had absolutely no issues at all before the update.

...now all I can hear is reverb. What's going on?

This is a really great, versatile app with lots of functionality. I've been using this with Audiobus connected to my ThumbJam app and I'm getting some really great sounds. Top marks!

With so many keenly priced music apps out there, it's getting harder to find diamonds like this. If you're a musician and own an ipad, you owe it to yourself to check this out. IAPs are cheap and it's a very playable instrument. Like most of my ipad instruments, I still crave a way of controlling velocity more fully while playing, but that's more a limitation of ios devices than ifretless. The developer is pretty active on forums and will no doubt continue to update his apps. Audiobus and midi control of other apps makes this a no-brainer.
