You can display this as list or as flowering calendar. Customized selections can be saved in a collection or mailed as pdf.
iGarten offers:
Plant profiles for more than 3350 plants and 23000 images give information about
- common and scientific names (with synonyms)
- family
- growing habit like height, flower colour and so forth
- ornamental value of fruits, autumn colouring and so forth
- foliation (like evergreen/deciduous, ornamental leaf colour)
- site factors like aspect, soil, habitats
- plant hardiness zones
- origin
- use in floristry
- care
Design interesting plant compositions using our multiple combination options (free selection):
- select plant groups like ferns, herbs, bulbs, etc.
- desired height
- flower colours, two choosable for colour combinations
- evergreen / deciduous plants
- moisture
- pH-value
- flowering times
- origin
- autumn colour: yellow/orange/red
- ornamental leaf: yellow/grey/variegated etc.
- ornamental bark: yellow/red/white etc.
Horticulture students, (landscape) gardeners, facility managers, janitors etc. can practise their plant knowledge with iGarten's training mode.
You have numerous options to select areas for practising, like "all herbaceous perennials" or "all ornamental grasses". You even can open customized training collections in the training box.

Plant information is valid for the Northern hemispheres warm temperate zone, but may vary regionally.
iGarten is free, but a subscription is required if you want to have access to all plants.

Früher war es eine tolle App!
Heute funktionierts nicht mehr mit üben usw!
„Üben“ funktioniert nicht mehr seit dem Update
Die App wäre super zum lernen aber seit ihr die App aktualisiert habt, funktioniert nichts mehr wie es soll. Es verschiebt andauernd die Pflanzennamen und die dazugehörigen Bilder. Dementsprechend lernt man ab jetzt alles falsch wenn man sich auf die“Üben“ Funktion von iGarten verlässt. Wirklich schade, vor dem Update funktionierte es einwandfrei und war auch übersichtlicher vom Design her. Wäre toll wenn ihr diese Fehler beheben könntet, sonst wird es nicht nur für mich schwierig in dieser Ausbildung. Freundliche Grüsse
Lohnt sich!
Die App war sehr verständlich gemacht. Leider wurde sie jetzt akktualisiert und das gefällt mir gar nicht mehr. Man muss nicht immer alles neu machen. Bitte lassen sie es so wie es war. Es ging schon lange sie so zu verstehen und jetzt noch dieses update Leider nur 3 von 5 sternen.

Bin gelernte Gärtnerin und Floristin und habe die App fast immer den Büchern vorgezogen. Habe die App schon seit es sie gibt und benutze sie auch heute noch häufig für die Kundenberatung. Gibt nichts besseres dafür💪🏻🌸🌿
App Funktioniert nicht mehr
Guten Tag Ich finde die App hervorragen, zum lernen. Jedoch habe ich seit der Aktulisierung nicht mehr die Möglichkeit zu üben. Es stürzt immer ab... der Rest funktioniert... Danke für den Support. Lg simon

Perfekt brauche es jeden Tag, so stelle ich auch meine Vorarbeiter in den Schatten! hatt wirklich alles drin, etwas kleines fehlt die bezeichnungen Mesoton,Basiton und Akroton.
