So many of these apps just dont seem to have simple overlay tool that allows you to overlay two images, semi transparent so you can line them up and then zoom in and out, rotate so they line up perfect. Only app that seems to do it is an app called PicDiff
Should be at the top of the search when looking for “image comparer” Edit 4/23/24: I think you need to implement a clear cache button 🫤 Response on 2/3/25: A button to clear the cached image that the app saved internally.
Love the app. The only complaint is you lose the pictures often when returning to the app. You need to keep setting them up when we you return to it.
As far as I can find, this is the only app on the App Store that offers the functionality of comparing two photos for pixel-peeping. A bit silly to do on a phone but I’m glad the developer has made a good app for those of us that want to do that. Will be buying the paid version to support the dev and hopefully expand the functionality of the app.
