Описание
Influent es un juego el aprendizaje de idiomas que se centra principalmente en la adquisición de vocabulario y pronunciación. Se desarrolló inicialmente en Japón, en el Laboratorio de Entretenimiento Computacional de la Universidad de Tsukuba, bajo la Beca de Investigación Gubernamental Monbukagakusho.
Inspirado en los títulos de Dreamcast de antaño (principalmente Shenmue y Toy Commander), Influent sumerge a los jugadores en un entorno totalmente interactivo en 3D donde pueden averiguarse los nombres de todos y cada uno de los objetos del juego mediante un simple toque. De hecho, ¡se puede aprender aún más información con un doble toque! Pueden abrirse todas las puertas, cajones, y armarios con un toque y mantenga por aquí y por allá, ¡revelando más y más cosas que aprender! Repleto de cientos de pronunciaciones sonoras por nativos (grabadas con cuidado y específicamente para este juego), Influent le ofrece a los jugadores una oportunidad única para disfrutar de aprender tanto vocabulario como pronunciación en el idioma de su elección.

Pretty good
App works great. But the sound will only work through headphones. I can’t get it to work through my phones speakers at all.
3D flashcards
I like the idea of practicing vocabulary in a 3D environment and the touch controls are fine. This is nice to use along side Duolingo. I also like being able to skip the tutorial when I want to start a new save.
My Issue
Is there’s no audio.
Sooo helpful
The amount of time that the creator put into this is actually amazing! I’m learning Korean, and my biggest issue is immersion and putting vocab words to use. This helps so so so much. I really like the testing feature where you have to go find the items to master the word. I’ve been looking for an app that does exactly this. Immersion is super hard when you aren’t in an area where you have easy access to the language. This puts you in the position of forcing yourself to learn through looking at the objects. I think because it’s set in a house, and you’re surrounded by everyday objects, you have the ability to think about/redirect your attention to what’s physically around you IRL and use the new vocab. I literally just started but, I really reccomend this to any beginners to the language— I’m super excited to see more progression in the game. Rob you killed this, thank you!
Not for me
The story and characters are very charming! But I couldn’t get used to the controls and being able to interact with all of the objects was a little overwhelming to me personally. But besides that, I think this is a good idea.
Has Potential
I am stuck in a state where I am supposed to pretend my character is doing some sort of Twitch-like streaming of going around the house and clicking on objects (I guess, that’s just what I’m getting from the bee character’s dialogue when I open the game). Once the 15 minute timer is up, nothing happens. No idea how to get to the minigames, and I teach UI at a university… Discord server invite link in the game is expired. So, I think this app has a lot of potential. I am just not sure how to get to it, and it would be great if additional environments were added. I’d be willing to pay .99 per environment per language, and there are a few languages getting studied in my home.
