The optional Adventure Sync feature integrates with HealthKit to credit your distance traveled Agent Stats, even when Ingress is in the background.
Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Dangerous game
As a location-based game, other players quickly determine where you live and work. While the TOS should be helping to ensure that those who behave in an unsafe way will be removed from the game, that almost never happens. I have knowledge of many incidents, including some court involvement (an assault, with court documentation as proof) and the guilty party is still allowed access. Niantic does not enforce their TOS, putting all at risk. There are safer ways to have fun. Skip this one

Wasted energy
This is a game where as you travel around you can capture portals. BUT… some portals are restricted by the admins but they don’t indicate which portals are restricted. Travel for hours to capture a portal only to be blocked by admins. Hike 4 miles up a mountain in the snow only to be denied the capture. Don’t waste your time with this game. The admins are idiots.

RIP Ingress
The unfortunate reality is that this app no longer works after its recent update. I’ve been trying to load into the game for the last 34 minutes straight and it refuses to load on both WiFi and cellular. Over 1000 mbps on WiFi and a 5g connection on wireless. I used to love this game, and I wish they’d bring it back. But it doesn’t work. The app services and functions appear to be shut off by the creator of the game. It’s so sad.
