I use the app a lot ,
Every delivery the delivery guys buying hard plastic reusable bags and each delivery over 5/6 of them.. I have at home hundreds of them! First it is a huge waste and bad for the environment and also makes my delivery more expensive in 6-7 dollars each time!
I don’t want them to purchase the expensive reusable bags, I want them to take back the bags/use Instacart boxes or something that I could return to the next delivery guys. Think more about the environment and make our deliveries cheaper
Poor app interface & support
Any time there’s an issue, I will be on chat with Customer Support for over an hour just hoping for a simple answer like “is my order coming” (like when an order for today suddenly spontaneously changes the delivery date to the next day). The responses are nonsensical (like repeating “I will help you” but never actually helping or doing anything, literally just repeating that they will help). It will go on for at least an hour. Also, the app is poorly designed for the user; finding a way to chat with the driver is cumbersome, it doesn’t let you alter your saved directions without placing a new order, etc. Also, I will sometimes spontaneously get an email from them that I have canceled my order when I never canceled my order, then when I login it turns out it wasn’t canceled at all. They need to fix their serious tech problems.
First time buyer.
I placed an order for the first time. Got canceled 3 times. DOORDASH would never do this to me. Trash app.

I feel so spoiled
I honestly can’t imagine a nicer service than Instacart. With so many things these days that seem to be working against us all, this is a gift that seems almost too good to be true. The hours and anxiety that Instacart avoids, I really can’t see any rain not to continue my trial subscription.
Time frames are false until you order
99$ sub fee and I pick a deliver within a half hour and I get a hour and a half later delivery time
