Calling all Football Manager fans! We have a new game for you and this time we’ve gone International! If you like old school retro Football Manager and Championship Manager-style games then you will love this. Following on from our original Retro Football Management title comes a whole new International Football adventure.
You will take charge of the greatest football teams that have ever competed in international tournaments. Use your football manager knowledge and soccer management skill to unlock each tournament in turn, from the iconic tournament in England in 1966 right through to its latest outing in Qatar 2022.
Journey through the history of soccer management in this fun retro game as you move through time unlocking tournaments and winning bonus features and points. Control teams like you used when you played Champ Manager, which international team should you use to try to unlock the 1974 tournament? Johan Cruyff’s Netherlands team, perhaps Gerd Muller for West Germany or maybe try to rewrite history and claim the title with Kenny Dalglish’s fantastic Scotland side – the choice is yours!
Start by choosing your international football squad. We have included the legends of the game as options, even in the tournaments they did not actually compete in: how would Maradona have done in 1978 or Pele in 1974? Start being a soccer manager and find out!
Points and bonus content are available if you have the skill to produce some football manager miracles. How about winning the title with Cameroon or Northern Ireland? You will need to identify opportunities to lift the title with the less famous sides; how good is your football knowledge?
If you are struggling to master any particular international football tournament then you could always use your points to help you out. You can collect points by hitting side challenges in all the tournaments, which include winning the golden ball, boot and team awards or even scoring a hattrick or winning 3 games in a row. Points can also be used to boost your team’s chances by increasing skill and fitness scores, so spend your points wisely!

A very good fun game just a few bugs
As a huge fan of any football management games this is definitely one you should check out, but I do have a few issues with it like the game knocking you out in the group stage when finishing third in euros 2016 while another team on the same points but worse goal difference goes through over you? Please make it make sense, along with a few other glitches too
Love the game
Love the game but it crashes all the time after the first England season. When I try to end season it won’t let me so I can’t unlock the next seasons. Can you please help.
Just a shame your RFM game no longer works
on old iphones/OS. I really liked that game. But am happy this IFM game works fine so far!

Could be a bit better and I have plenty of tips that would be easy to reprogram into the current game version so feel free to contact me

quick and great fun to play
Don’t waste your time
I like the idea and set up but it’s so unfair I have tried with so many different teams making them as strong as I can and I can’t win a single World Cup I have tried at least 25 times and I have only reached the final once only to loose against Ireland when I’m prime Italy !!
Good idea but frustrating to play
Your teams fitness decimates with every game but it doesn’t seem to effect the opposition who play the same squad regardless to great effect. The rating of the players seem a bit off as well, no real disparity between the lesser nations as you will see Haiti getting to the world cup final while you get papped oot in the group stage. Signing foreign nomads is not for me also.
Great game. Just need a few little things sorting
Great game. Really fun. Completely different to all other games out there. Just need a few little things sorting to make it perfect. One being that I’ve now won the 1982 World Cup twice and the 1986 World Cup still remains locked. Will get to a point where I can’t play any other World Cups as I won’t have the required points.
Fun game
This is a fun game and passes time. Is there a way that you can keep your nomad players though? Would be great to build a minnows team and guide them to glory!
