The app for the AppleTV is just amazing one Time payment and it always works! Unfortunately for iPhone you have to pay again for a subscription.

Nice and good looking app, but unfortunately all live channels are placed in ‘Movies’. Please fix

Unfortunately this app won’t work on my iPhone. Got the pro-version installed and after starting the app it just closes after a few seconds… with no clear reason and/or message! On my AppleTV it works like a charm… but it’s just not stable on the iPhone. Hope they resolve this bug…

This is actually a great app, the best in the market. I was happily ready to get the PRO subscription, but after a trial I see something that really makes it useless: one of the main perks of having the PRO version is that you can download and access content offline. And you can access it, but of course only if you have the mentioned PRO subscription. The problem is that every time you open the app you need internet connection to restore the PRO subscription which makes having content offline useless, as you are not able to access it (despite being a subscriber already). Hopefully they will fix this one day

Best app on the market for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Only downside is there is an seperate iPlayTV app for the AppleTV and not the same as this one in one subscription and sync..

Unfortunately, no support for chromecast

I like this app (iPlayTV) for the AppleTV, which I bought with a one time payment. And when the developer decided to build a app for iPhone/iPad, I was happy. But…. Also this developer started with a subscription model 😪 why? The app is working well. EPG is vertical only. I prefer horizontal because you get much more information about more channels. Less scrolling. Unfortunately this developer didn’t followed the (his) AppleTV layout, so the entrance page isn’t fancy as on the AppleTV. For the iPhone it’s good like it is now, for iPad it could be more like on the AppleTV. Your IPTV subscription(s) is (are) loading in the background, which is a big plus compared to the iPlayTV AppleTV app. Which this can be done on the AppleTV as well. When you hide unwanted content (groups/countries), they always come back when you refresh your subscription(s) when there is new content available within those hided groups/countries. So you need them to hide over and over after every refresh. (You can turn off refresh option, but you won’t get new content download then! So this isn’t a solution).

Needs cast support, and most importantly needs BIGGER picture-in-picture, it’s tiny. Also PiP outside of the app would be amazing.

No updates for a year. There’s no way I’m paying money for this.

I have been using the version for my AppleTV and was initially happy. I really liked the format and font size on the screen and how it lets you customize lists. This was essential because I wanted to make it easier for my wife. However this app crashes or deletes your settings constantly. No matter what I did to save favorites and lists they would be gone within a day or two and I would have to start all over again which is exhausting. I reached out by email and I have never heard from the developer. I would love to get a refund but I know I will never see that money again. Buyer beware.
