Wrong reminder date

App would be great if it reminded me to put my bin out on the correct day. Bin pick-up is on Tuesday but I always get a reminder on Saturday to put bin out on Sunday. Have tried to change but seems you can only turn reminders off or on, not what date you want the reminder.
