I signed up for a free trial and it charged me $45 and signed me up for 30 days this is unacceptable and it doesn’t even work

Is It Vegan is a tool for anyone interested in eliminating animal products from their diet.
Simply scan the UPC bar code on the package of any food or beverage product, and you'll see:
Whether the product is vegan, vegetarian, or neither.
A summary classifying the list of ingredients.
A detail list showing which ingredients are vegan, vegetarian, non-vegetarian, etc.
And the original (unclassified) list of ingredients for the product.
After putting each ingredient into a category, Is It Vegan then decides whether the product is suitable for a vegan or vegetarian diet.
Is It Vegan has information on hundreds of thousands of food and beverage products and verifies each of them using a master list containing thousands of pre-classified ingredients.
Users now have the option to upload products, making our database larger than ever!
Notice: Data on products outside the USA is extremely limited at this time. For best results, please scan food products from the USA.

It doesn’t have everything, but it has a lot
It stays on the safe side and the app is cleanly designed. Info and FAQs are great. I will use it as a backup/second opinion scan. Also, 25% to animal rights organizations absolutely cannot be ignored. I think people are being way too harsh. It is a 4 star for me but I will give it five for this reason.
Waste of time
It always says “not sure”. Even to famously vegan products from vegan companies. This app is straight up garbage.
Scanned tofu as not vegan. Really ?
Really, app ? 9 times out of 10 the answer was Not Sure, never got a thibg right actually. Bad app...
Bad database
Failed to recognize Vega-brand snack bars as Vegan. If this app can’t even correctly identify products from an all-vegan food product company, how good can it be?

Every item I have scanned comes up “unsure” or doesn’t have information for the item. Great idea if it actually worked.
This app sucks
I scanned about 5 products. Every scan came up unsure.
It never works!!! Always “unsure”
I scan so many items, and it is always unsure whether or not it is vegan. So maddening. Not worth my time anymore. Sorry not sorry
Useless
Just says it's unsure on everything. I'd honestly give it zero if I could.
