HOW IT WORKS
Heart rate variability is a proven window into the body’s nervous system, going beyond a simple resting heart rate (RHR) measure. Training is all about stress and recovery and a hard session will lower your HRV score. By using ithlete to monitor training stress you can adjust sessions according to your body’s current readiness to train, improve and perform.

Please also note that this HRV app is NOT a heart rate monitor app, which people use during exercise. The ithlete app is an app that uses heart rate variability to indicate your state of fatigue, recovery and readiness to train following a 1 minute morning measure, and it is not used during the actual exercise.

Waste of time and money. The app is very glitchy, freezing on multiple occasions just trying to login/sync. Will not take a reading with 2 different Bluetooth HR straps. I want a refund.

Doesn’t work

When I try and connect my Garmin HR strap it finds it, when I select it, it just throws me out of the app.. I paid so will need a refund it it can’t be rectified.

I have been using ithlete for a couple of years. I use it to determine my training level each day. The app syncs with Training Peaks reliably so that my data is transferred each day. It doesn't always seem to sync well with Garmin to import my training load. It would be good if I didn't have to login online each day to see my training recommendation - I can never login from the app. The app itself could do with a facelift IMHO.

Have been using this for years and it is reliable and accurate. The only drawback is the lack of being able to sync between iPad and iPhone or backup the data. SweatBeat offers that and more features such as stress test etc.

Buggy!

The app has bugs! Firstly, sometimes at the end of a 55 seconds ready the app just suddenly turns off. This happens 2x pw. Secondly, it it can take forever sometimes to get the green button to start. I use this app daily alongside sweetbeat and hrv+, and unfortunately this is the poorest. Please fix, as I like what your doing, but bugs are letting you down big time! I'm on a 4s if that helps, but if the other apps work fine on a 4s I would guess yours should too!

This APP and the dongle are not worth a single cent, Anyone serious about training will want an app that can be used during training ..... This app DOES NOT repeat DOES NOT offer this at all. It simply takes your pulse once each day and then tells you if you should or shouldn't train, You can do that with a wrist watch and a bit of paper !! Until they offer the app as shown on the UK app store, with training zones and exercise measurement etc I would save my money or stay with your current POLAR setup. Dont waste your money here ....yet !
