App is rather disappointing - I was able to find my booking but it continually failed to let me do anything to it, including selecting seats and meals, etc. Would just error out each time. As others have said, compared to other airline apps, this is terrible and missing basic functionality.
Very nice app but it would be nice to be able to show codeshare flights in “my bookings” as well. Other than this, everything is good.
When you try to manage booking as a guest it come up with error message. Does not work.
I had an excellent service and experience with JAL . The staff were attentive, the flight was comfortable, and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend flying with JAL.
App lacks basic functionality and is not intuitive to use. Each leg needs to be added separately even when it has the same booking code. Miles still haven’t shown in my QFF even 5 days after flying JAL. Service is stone cold towards children and hence we won’t return as family travellers.
Brisbane is not an option for city of origin... Multi-city does not work for first class... Garbage app... Chitose airport sometimes does not appear...
Seasoned traveller who has spent much of my long life travelling to around 45 countries & lived in quite a few. Of the many airlines I have travelled with JAL is simply the number #1. Reliable, comfortable in economy, great food, impeccable service. You might save a few dollars with a budget airline but for me, that can’t offset the pleasure & peace of mind that comes with choosing JAL. We had bookings at the beginning of 2020 to fly Australia- Japan return when COVID arrived. Getting a refund was painless & the money was in my account within hours of making the refund request. Currently booked back to Japan with JAL once again. We will never fly with any other airline after such great experiences.
Compared to Singapore Airlines app this is terrible. Won’t even retrieve a booking.
