Love the idea of the app. But there are some issues I’ve encountered while using it. Firstly, it shows you only kana for words usually written in kanji (at least in the first lessons. Secondly, there’s a bug in the park quest, no matter what you enter, you can’t pass it. It’s in the dialogue with a bird, with the word “行きませんでした” (if I remember it right)

The artstyle is cute and the rpg aspects are a fun motivator. You get to pick up words and phrases as you go, expanding your vocabulary by interacting with npcs. My only real issue is that I wish there was more of the game! I hope there are plans for more (if not, what's already there is still a nice little guide to Japanese for beginners as-is).

An amazing app. Helps with reading kanji and kana. The only downside is that they don’t teach you stroke order and you don’t type in kana which would help with remembering kana. But otherwise super fun and easy to memorize kanji

I love this concept. I have fun collecting the stuff. Needs more content ASAP though. There’s a loooong way to go before meeting the amount of words you get from an intro university class. I would love to have more ability to use my yen of course and maybe level up or something
