Great app
Very reliable and is legitimate sounding. Have used it on a gig.
Great grooves but NO MANUAL
If this thing and it's sister apps had a manual I'd be giving it 5 stars. I think that for the price it is, Apple should not allow it to be sold without a manual, in 2024. Really is it too much to ask? I have been stumbling around trying to learn how to tweak a drum style for a particular song and then SAVE it to a song name so I can recall it quickly for a gig. Can't seem to do it, and it's driving me crazy. Something is eluding me. A simple paragraph would do it, right? Come on, developer!

Wild tiles
Rhythm is the highest tech. One can think of metric cycles (or grooves, or talas) as ways of tiling the plane (see the works of Roger Penrose and “Gödel, Escher, Bach”), but in time rather than space. Jazz Drummer by Lumbeat offers nicely styled beats, or if you like tiles with which to design “wild tilescapes”. This is a great member of the Lumbeat family of “rhythmoscopes,” primed for “beatsploration”. I never tire of the beautiful permutations and combinations it opens.
