Journeyman Electrician Exam.

Aside from the awful grammatical and spelling errors, there are numerous mis-referenced articles of the code book. Some of the questions of the pop quizzes do not pertain to the prior question despite being asked a particular detail of that question. I found this twice in just under 100 questions. I think it helps a person go through the code book if it’s something you haven’t done in a while or you need to brush up on your formula skills. Be sure to reference other sources for various questions that don’t see like they make sense. Clearly, come language of the code book is difficult to understand. But then there are questions in which the wording makes no sense at all. It feels like a Beta version that never got saw through to completion. The functionality of the app is so-so and could also use an update.

I paid for and upgrade and it charged my account but didn’t give me the upgrade so I am out of 16 dollars for nothing

Not even close… These questions are no where near accurate questioning when taking these exams, questions are often unanswerable due lack of information, and some answers are just incorrect. Did not pay for app so maybe the paid version is better.

Found a lot of wrong answers, you would use the values given in the question to do the calculation and then it would tell you that it was wrong and when you look at the solution the numbers would be different from what was given in the question. Also found several things in the code book that the app doesn’t get right, not a very good way to learn how to pass a test, and when you try and send a email to tell them about it and get a refund of your money it will not go through and all you get is email failure notices over and over again, save your money and time, get another app.

This app is full of not only grammatical errors, but questions that are not linked with the correct set of answers. I was hoping for more accuracy since it’s not a free app.

I used it as a secondary study method. Easy to use and they explain the answers very well. Might not site the exact code every time but I just the explanation helped a lot. Well worth the 10$ for me!

Will make you pay $10 to access all the material. Does not give specific code references when explaining most answers. Also can’t find which NEC is being used.
