Ka: Learn Chinese Tones

Learning chinese tones as an english speaker has always troubled me, as i studied chinese in school and there was never an emphasis put on speaking or pronunciation. But with Ka i really feel like im speaking chinese and not just terribly attempting to read it. 10/10

I recently found and downloaded this app to help me with my tones and I’ve found it as a fun and easy way to keep motivated with the difficulty of tones! It’s easy to use and even with the free version, I don’t find the ads intrusive or annoying. I plan to upgrade soon and the price is also affordable so I have no issues with that as well! Great app 😁

Really good app for learning pinyin

Really good app for getting better at Mandarin tones, exactly what I was looking for.

I’ve been looking for an app that helps with Chinese tones and heating and this one is amazing. I haven’t payed for anything so it’s only five lives but most apps don’t even let you use them for free. I love it!

I think the subscription cost is quite high. I would pay £20 for a lifetime no adds unlimited lives. App is fun though

I’ve been struggling with Mandarin tones and came across Ka Chinese Tones. Wow! The app is amazing - testing me on tone combinations and with a very polished interface. I used it for only ten minutes before I purchased the unlimited unlock. I really hope the developer has and gets lots of interest for this app. Thank you!

This app is just what I was looking for! It’s very nicely made, engaging and is effective at training you to differentiate between the four tones.

Found this app looking to train my ear in Chinese tones before jumping in to the language, and it is perfect! You not only practice tones, but you get to learn new vocabulary through examples. I love that the tones aren’t isolated always, so you really get a feel for how they work in sentences. Recommended this app to everyone in my Chinese speaking group 💙
