Katan - Photos on TV

The app connects to the photos flawlessly. I purchased the pro version to eliminate the banner but when playing a slideshow, it shows the command bar at the bottom every time a picture change. This is quite annoying as I was hoping it would play the photos without anything else. Maybe an option to show or not show could be offered. Anyway thank you. Norbert

This App is AMAZING.

Able to see my photos on my Samsung tv from both my iPad and iPhone X. However I created an album in my photos of the photos I wished to project, and the app cannot see the album I created, or any of the other albums I’ve created. It sees only the automatic albums, like bursts, panoramas, etc. Am I doing something wrong? I don’t want to wade through thousands of images when I have just a few I want show.

On a whim I decided to figure out how to view photos on our new Samsung QLED TV. I found a couple of articles online and of course the first recommendation had been discontinued. I saw others in the App Store and tried out three of them. They were difficult for me to move through and the instructions were not specific enough for a non-techie like myself. Install/Delete. Then I tried Katan. Such a relief. In a matter of minutes I was connected and looking at lovely photographs from both my iPad and iPhone. Even our dorky Goldendoodle loved looking at big photos of himself. And yes I will pay the $2 to lose the bottom banner. This App is a bargain. One (dumb) question. How exactly do I Exit the app? Hit “disconnect”? When I do that it seems I have trouble reconnecting.

Thank you guys, good job! I have one issue during playing slideshow, it it moving in reverse mode for the date of pictures, is there a way we can selected the sequence?

Finally an app that works easily without charging an arm and a leg.

Easy to install! But the mirrored pic on Samsung Smart TV is smaller than may laptops... ?? So what’s the point? Maybe developer will tell me how to enlarge or update. Tease that the app is free - Katan watermark banner on bottom of every pic unless you pay $3.99

That was the only app on market I found to easy mirror my gallery on TV. I paid 4 bucks to remove watermark, however after 10 minutes of usage a banner appears... W₽T&F!!!!!

No seamless movement from one photo to another. It will only cast one photo then goes back to live tv before going to next photo. Also will not cast in order you have in your album. Do not recommend.
