Key Detect

This app doesn’t do the job properly, imagine paying more money for this low service!! So disappointed!!!!!

I downloaded this app to help me with the songs that I’m making, but it just charged me $4.00 for no reason. I only used this app once and I never bought anything. I’m obviously very angry about this, and I’m trying to figure out how to get a refund. Please, don’t buy this app.

I really loved this app and found it very useful. Now no longer works with IOS 11. Pls. Update this app.

I just bought this and it is inaccurate and does not work. There is no useable help nor any information in the program regarding the programmer. I went through several midi files of known keys and it correctly identified only one of four.

Title says it all.

I’ve had this app for a good year or 2 and it all of a sudden stopped working today. It won’t pick up any sound and the mic is enabled.

It took some time to figure out the way the app runs, but it’s fairly easy to use and pretty accurate for musical purposes. Tbh, it’s suitable to use and have if you don’t have mixed in key.

I analyze all of my music with Mixed In Key and tested Mixvibes ageist their analysis (which is the best in the industry). Mixvibes was close, it was plus or minus 1 step consistently. If this is the only thing you use for key detection it will probably work fine, but it was disappointing in contrast with real key detection that relies on the actual files instead of the mic.

I took the reviews with a grain of salt bought for myself anyway and it seems to work just fine.

I didn’t think I was using the app correctly. The start button only changes color. It is not clear when the device is listening and analyzing the music. I can’t tell if the display is updated or stuck in a setting mode. I don’t trust this app and regret buying it. I couldn’t find instructions. The description only promises that it is easy. Too bad it is not as described. It would have been nice to have this app working.
