Keys for Safari

It’s a good idea to have a simpler version of vimari, etc. But because of numerous little problems here and there I reverted to a more future-reach (and polished) extension.

Unfortunately, I'm a spolied OS X — or macOS, as it's written today — user. We have too many fantasticx options. Fringe utilities and niche tools — there's a good chance there's at least one option out there that's virtually perfect. In this case, I'm seeing a renaissance of most things VIM. Vimari, VIM-like for Safari… I don't mean top point those out (I like them!). Just examples. Certain there are many more out there. Again, those are great choices for those we often call power users. But I didn't know Keys gave some of its profits to charity. That's awesome! (Thanks @Barbro666666 for enlightening me.) And almost as important for me personally:Keys would be the only Safari extensions I'd feel comfortable recommending in its category. I couldn't stomach seeing friends and family stumble over Insert/Delete mode and other “legacy” stuff. Keys is modern, practical, useful and good-looking. Those three are a rare mix and seldom seen together. I'd go as far as saying that Keys is the only choice for “normal” computer users, when it comes rto extensions for Safari to navigate faster and more efficient ergonomically via the keyboard. The other VIM inspired tools are, again, fine. They are incredibly nice for a Mac junkie like me. But I think they might be distracting and perhaps too complicated for casual users. Those users would, however, become used to, perhhaps even dependent on, Keys in a copule of hours. Five stars 👏 Thank you for doing great Mac utilities. Insanely great software, which almost makes me nostalgic. :)

Straightforward and simple app that works great for those of us trying to transition away from using the mouse as much as possible. And the profits go to charity! What's not to like? Congratulations to the developer!

Takes a bit to understand at first, but once you get it, it’s really nice. Basically it either highlights portions of text in the page in red that you can type to “click” that part of the page, or it generates a text key like “FF” that you can type in order to click the element. Very handy, highly recommended.

Saw on r/Ipad. Saves a lot of time by binding items to key strokes. Allows for remapping as well
