Kilowatt – Electric Car Timer

Even after the update on 20 Dec I’m still finding I cannot add some rates. I can add anything up to 6.6kwh but I cannot add 6.7, 6.8, 6.9 etc so AC. when I do they just het added as 6.6kwh. So I can’t use the app as times are way out. I can however add them if I add them to DC charging. Weird.

I frequently use this convenient app. Since I rely on public charging, it’s invaluable to quickly determine whether it's worth the hassle of driving a little farther for a cheaper charge and calculate the difference in cost. My one request is to be able to change the start time. This would be useful as many of the charges near me have cheap overnight rates, and being able to see what the Soc is at the end of that cheaper time would be useful.

This app really helps when needing to balance between a rapid charge and a slow AC charge. I have used when at the office and I need a full battery to travel in 6hrs , but the AC 7kW units wouldn’t do it in time , this help tell me what rapid charge I need to inject first to allow the cheaper 7kW to achieve 100% before I leave

Thank you for updating the app with the cost for charging. This makes this simple but great app even better.

I want to love this app. However for my car (Zoe 22) it has a bug rendering it useless. No time shown!

Nice quick calculator to use!

Cuts down on the guesswork as to how long it’s going to take to charge up to a certain percentage charge and the resulting range for your particular EV. Helpful in planning journeys as well as alerting you when that charge should have been reached when you’re on the road.

Actually have found this one of the most useful apps I have downloaded since getting my EV. For anyone who is expecting an all singing all dancing app, this isn’t the one but it is absolutely amazing for a free app

The app is good to calculate the time taken to charge pretty much any electric vehicle. The app knows the electric vehicle charging speed limit and knows that the charging rate decrease as the battery is fuller.

App execution is excellent! It’s a bit slow in touch response, but it functions extremely well, and seems to have the right features, as well as an extensive vehicle list. Do not use with inverted screen colour/iPhone dark mode, otherwise you’ll not be able to see anything on the app!
