Picks up broadcast where it was when I exited the app a day or two before. Often takes several minutes to catch up to the live broadcast. For example, today is Tuesday, but when I turned it on this morning, it was still playing Sundays broadcast for at least five minutes.
I listen to KLCC/KLCO every single morning. It is amazing how NPR is so on top of the news. Often I will hear things on NPR that aren’t reported for days on other news networks. It is fair, intelligent, and presented well. And KLCC/KLCO is right on top of reporting local items, and by “local” they cover most of Oregon…It’s a great station!
I have enjoyed KLCC for 30 years. I know it is not great but I receive most of my news through KLCC. I think that it is relatively balanced and fair, plus it shares a lot of my views. I love the sense of community that it provides and promotes. I have seen it take away music and insert talk shows. This is the only aspect that really bothers me and I know it is hard to compete with streaming music platforms. I will continue to praise and contribute to KLCC. I would realize a big hole in my life without KLCC. You guys are fantastic.
The app has been glitchy lately. Randomly skipping around within a program, or repeating segments. Additionally, when I turn on the steam, it resumes where I left off, even if that was the previous day
So nice to be able to take OPB/NPR with me outside of the car. It’s also super convenient to be able to finish the stories and interviews that I have to cut short when getting to work. Thank you. Thank you! THANK YOU!!
I love this app. It’s a great way for me to get the news from home when I’m away.
Great app for listening. Kind of the nature of the beast but it is difficult to read everything going on with all of the information on episodes but that is also beneficial as well. I use it all the time.
When it works it’s terrific but then you can have a couple of days in a row where it’s so glitchy and frustrating.
I like listening to NPR and KLCC programming but the dialogue / recording will repeat itself for a few seconds almost every minute. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but to no avail. Irritating.
This app is well done! Far better results streaming KLCC than poor radio reception in Lincoln City! Keep up the high quality of all you do.
