This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.
The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

Perform as advertised
I got this set up to replace a 20 year old 5.1 setup. I get the same sound with less equipment so I am satisfied.
Speakers are great. App is useless
App keeps dropping connection to The Fives even after updating to latest firmware.
Volume resolution
The volume resolution from the app is implemented such that it's not a great way to gradually select the amplitude. It would be better to implement plus and minus arrows, so the user could hone in exactly to the level intended.
Better than Bose
I’ve been a Bose customer for over 30 years and just recently purchased my first Klipsch speakers and I have never been more impressed with the quality of the speakers and the easy use of Klipsch Connect. Never going back to Bose again. I have bought three Klipsch speakers since 11/01/24. That’s how impressed I am by Klipsch.
Works well, most of the time
The app does function as it should.
Remembering EQ settings
I’d really like if the EQ settings would persist between listenings. Every time I turn the speakers back on they’re at baseline EQ which for my room is waaaay too boomy and I have to turn the bass down. Surely this is doable, right?
Simple but convenient application
I’m using this app to control Klipsch The Three plus. This app has everything to manage this device, I can select desired input, change the volume, tone via simple equalizer and turn the night mode. As for such simple devices this application offering exactly enough functions. In Bluetooth mode I do not need the app at all.
Works for me !!!
