KSAT 12 News

This app has more advertising than information. When viewing items on apps, one wants simple facts. Your previous one was perfect!!!👍🏼 . Now the white background is hard on the eyes, the big bold ads (Justin’s pictures, BOLD Hurricane ads, BIG KSAT Connect,etc) takes up space, and all we need is simple information, like your previous one. It was easy to navigate. If it “ain’t “ broken, why mess with it? Thank you.

I have emailed and called about the reruns continuously being played on the “Live” news option on the app, which can be very confusing when listening to old news, old traffic updates and old weather updates. Please do better, because we expect more with KSAT 12. Return calls and emails, please

It pauses the audio (podcasts, music) I’m already listening to and I have to go and restart it. Also add a traffic section or a better way to get traffic notifications.

Can we please get a way to disable that auto live play? I have looked all over the app and don’t see a way to turn it off. All I see is to auto play on wif but I’m not even connected to wifi but it still starts to play automatically. Please fix

I used to love the app but now they auto play live KSAT video and there’s no option to turn that off. I turned off auto play for videos but the live TV video plays no matter what. I click on an alert to read a story and video starts playing. Deleted. I’m going to KENS app.

I only do KSAT and CNN. Lately I find that news on KSAT remains the same for a couple of days on my phone. It hasn’t changed since the President was to speak in Brownsville and I went to KENS to get my update on news. Disappointing…

Get rid of the automatic streaming up top for simply opening the app

Got rid of this news app. It forces the video on the main page on you. So if you’re listening to music and just want to read the news it stops the music because of the video.

The app works as advertised, but only if you let the dev company have FULL access to your phone or AppleTV for marketing purposes. I recently purchased NordVPN with ad-blocking, and the app simply stopped working. When I investigated and reached out to KSAT, I received an email explicitly stating that if I blocked their ads or tracking in any way, the app would not work. Sorry. Not gonna compromise my security for your advertising purposes. DELETED. I’ll watch Kens5 instead. Goodbye, KSAT.

I was just watching KSAT news and they were talking about all the schools starting back up. They then show a list of schools on the site were you can click on the school to pull up the academic schedule. They said go to the site to pull it up. I checked and couldn’t find it. They have a link for education but a quick search failed to find it. Same with alerts sent to phone with a news story. You click on the link that it sends you and rarely does it take you to the story, but you have to search for it. App would be a lot better if you didn’t have to spend so much time searching on it especially on links they send you.
