Kyoku Flashcards

I like the app a lot, it’s already been very helpful to me. However, it would be nice to have an option to type instead of writing and then search for a card by its text. I would also like to see an opportunity to shuffle cards while reviewing a whole deck. It would also be helpful to be able to write the answer down then check to back side of the card to compare. Hopefully you will continue to work on this project

Love the app, best flash card app so far with support of Apple Pencil. Pros: - simple design - good learning algorithm (with the boxes idea) - customise the cards e.g lines, squares. - sharing cards between friends is easy Cons (or areas of improvement to consider): - the writing is not fluid, like in GoodNotes or notability. - problems with storing large amounts of cards - the iPad and Mac versions have different backgrounds for cards - no subfolders for organising decks - no ability to sync with other cloud storage (I.e onedrive< Google drive) - app often crashes

Kyoku brings the simplicity and usability of paper flashcards to your iPad, something no other flashcard app has ever managed to do. If you’re looking for a simple but powerful experience that’s as similar to paper flashcards as possible, then look no further. Feedback: One addition I would like to see would be a SuperMemo / Anki style SRS system that automatically quizzes me on my learned cards so I don’t forget them. While I think the existing Leitner boxes are great for a paper-like experience - and should be retained - a separate, algorithmic SRS ‘Review’ feature could genuinely turn Kyoku into an Anki-killer.

App is amazing I like that you can write on the flash cards Improvement would be , that when you want to zoom in to write on the flash cards the screen doesn’t also move. This means that you can write more info on cards rather than only be able to write at one level

I really enjoy using Kyoku however it could be improved by changing the share feature so that you could keep them as flash cards to be accessed by other Kyoku users rather than as a pdf.

Hi, I just updated my app which says the pdf remaining in dark mode issue is resolved however, when I export my FLASHCARDS as a pdf version, they are still in dark mode, and now the writing that use to be in white before, so that it was visible in the dark mode on the pdf, is now black. Therefore, I now have pdfs with a black background and black writing, so I am unable to read anything. Please can this be fixed as I love using this app. Thank you for your time, kind regards. Update: now I can’t export any pdfs anymore. Please help me

Please add the option to type as well as being able to use the pen!

Love this app but I wish it auto saved cards so if my iPad shuts down I don’t have to redo the whole card

Blurs pictures when putting them in flash cards.

Do not waste your money. There is a problem with sync between your iPad and your phone. I’ve made a comment on the website but nothing.
