Buggy app, snotty employees
The app often doesn’t load anything, requiring a force restart. Jobs appear that shouldn’t. For example, pick up and drop off at the Kyte parking lot. I accepted that and it was removed automatically. I received an email accusing me of a no call no show and the agent refused to look into or acknowledge that I didn’t accept any jobs that I didn’t show up for. I took two jobs: the one I completed and the one I mentioned above that I was removed from. So I think a bug in the app (showing jobs that shouldn’t be accepted by “surfers”) led to me getting a no call no show warning on my account. When asking for help on Slack, my questions were never answered, instead just abrasively being told what not to do. There are rarely any jobs available. Some people will gobble them all up as soon as they’re released because they’re trying to make this their full-time job. If you want to do this as a side hustle for extra income, you’ll be disappointed. I did one job that took me almost two hours in total. I was paid $14 and spent $5 on transportation. It’s simply not worth the trouble and frustration working with Kyte. Oh and lastly, after they ran a background check I go identify monitoring alerts that my info was on the dark web. Thanks Kyte!
