Label Icelandic - Full Course

Seems okay but the audio seems to be broken, in the first course theres no sound when i tap the ‘tap for audio’ button

Really happy with this app, I have used the ‘bigger’ apps before (multiple languages and Icelandic as one of their offered languages) but this app works best for me. Specialised in Icelandic, real good and clear grammar introductions (with a great sense of humour too!), plenty of drills and useful vocabulary, finally Icelandic and it’s highly complicated grammar ‘sticks’. It works. Love it! Highly recommend.

The audio is working now. Such a great app for only 3.99 dollars. The developer is an angel. Period.

This app looked really good when I bought it, but after trying to use it for a while it’s pretty clear it has two major flaws. The biggest issue is that there’s no audio, which is weird considering the most recent update listed was apparently giving the app a new audio system. The other major issue is that if I leave partway through a lesson, there’s no way to get back to where I left off without going through the whole thing again. It also doesn’t tell me how much longer I have until the end of a lesson. I think this app could be really good, but as it is now it just doesn’t function.

Purchased this app to practice more with audio of correct pronunciation. It does not work despite me reinstalling app, restarting phone, and checking volume. Disappointed.

It would be great if the sound actually worked. I left the app for a while (after paying for it and being no disappointed by the lack of audio). I checked again maybe a year later…still no sound. I press the button for audio and nothing happens, even with my phone audio turned all the way up. I really wish they would fix this. It looks like a cool app but I really need the audio to be a part of it.

I love this app and have been using it for months! As other reviews have mentioned, there are a couple mistakes, but honestly the interface and structure are so intuitive, & the instruction so good at clarifying some really tricky grammatical rules, that I love using it and it motivates me to continue learning Icelandic. Unfortunately, ever since I got a new iphone (was using a 6s, now have a 13 Pro on IOS 16.0.2) the app has fully refused to open. I cannot access it at all; it quits before the title screen even appears. I have had to keep my old 6s around and continue learning on there. I’d love to give this app 5 stars, but I can’t until it works on my phone, lol—help?

A number of mistakes and no way to report them or provide direct feedback. Approach to teaching is sort of wonky- OK as a review but i wouldn't recommend for someone just learning the language. One very nice aspect is the Íslandingur who pronounced the vicabulary words- slow and clear! Provides cultural facts but they are on a timer and often turn off before you can finish reading them.

For $3 you’ll get what I think is the best language-learning app there is. Tired of stupid exercises and boring lessons? This app is like learning from a native Icelander who lives across the street and pops by to help you learn. Recommend highly.

On my downloaded version, none of the audio works at all, which totally defeats the purpose of this app (and paying for it!). Reached out to app support to report the bug and ask for guidance and never heard back. If the app worked, It looks fantastic and I think it would prob be 5 stars.
