Lama Scooters "Lama's" are available to rent at hotels, marinas, cruise ship ports, theme parks, and college campuses. Riders are charged by the hour and are guaranteed use of the scooter without interruption allowing rides to pause and restart their ride to enjoy a meal, shop, view an attraction, etc. without concern for their scooter being scooped up by another person.
HOW IT WORKS
• Download the Lama Mobility app and register
• Locate a Lama at a charging station
• Scan the Lama’s QR code
• Unplug & unlock the Lama
• Step on, press the throttle and GO....
• Pause & resume using the app
• Return the Lama to the same charging station and end the ride
RIDE RESPONSIBLY
• Must be 18 or older to operate.
• Never exceed one rider per scooter.
• Always hold handlebars with two hands.
• While riding, keep both feet on the footboard.
• Never press the throttle unless you are on the scooter.
• Do not hang items on the handlebars, as it may result in a loss of balance.
• Do not ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Do not listen to headphones while riding.
• Ride in the direction of traffic
• Do not go off paved surfaces
• Follow ALL traffic laws and signage

Needs Improvement
We signed up for the app with personal info, uploaded credit card, paid, then walked about a mile to station to pick up lamas only to find we needed our ID on the spot. Stuck expecting to have wheels we ended up getting a Lyft. Read reviews to find you must do round trip, and the daily rate is $45 per unit, so getting a moped is cheaper AND most places will drop off the moped to your hotel.
Poor Instructions
Walked nearly a mile to scooter after signing up. Launch app to unlock rental and it asks for ID which I didn’t have on me. Couldn’t rent when I needed to, would have been since to know BEFORE walking so far.
Super Fun Time!
Don’t walk and drive a car. Use a Lama. You can get around faster and have a load of fun. Grab one off the scooter rack when your in Key West!
FUN, FUN and more FUN
We had an absolute blast zooming around Key West on the scooter. It was incredibly convenient and enjoyable for our entire day, eliminating concerns about wasting time trying to find a parking spot for the car. One of the highlights was the ability to park right in front of wherever we went, pause our ride, and resume whenever we were ready to continue exploring.
Scam
Had fun riding scooter in Key West FL until trying to drop off. App indicated a “drop zone” different from our initial rental location. Left scooter at drop zone. Charging station was full. Left scooter. Was charged $100 for not returning scooter to original rental location. Very cryptic terms/policies. Do not rent if you intend to stop somewhere else in KW other than the original rental location
Scammers
SCAM! So they charged me and my friends $100 EACH extra each for not returning our scooters in the same location. After the app directed us to a location where we were allowed to drop the scooter off. They refunded us after we made a fuss. This is their business model… they hope people don’t notice. They should be legally punished!
Crappy system
Couldn’t delete account after we got me and my husbands ID mixed up on our phones. Customer support didn’t fix the issue. Ruined our fun night out on the town

The scooters are falling apart, theyre not safe. Overpriced with terrible customer service and horrible App interface. Save yourself the headache & money. What a sham
