If you're considering booking with Landing, be warned: they are untrustworthy, disorganized, and prioritize their convenience over customer commitments. Our experience was a classic bait-and-switch. We booked and paid for a ground-floor unit because we were traveling with my 84-year-old father, who cannot manage stairs. After multiple confirmations from their team that it was on the ground floor, they later "updated" the listing to say it was a third-floor unit — and conveniently forgot to notify us. When we flagged this issue, Landing admitted their mistake but refused to honor the original booking. Instead, they offered "compensation" in the form of small discounts — not remotely enough to cover the increased cost of finding a comparable unit at another location. Their customer service was slow, unresponsive, and ultimately unhelpful. We had to chase them down for updates and refunds. Landing's "7-day guarantee" is meaningless if they can't even honor the original terms of a booking. They advertise one thing, then change it later, leaving you with limited options and added stress. For a company that claims to provide a "hassle-free" experience, it was anything but. If you value honesty, transparency, and customer service, book elsewhere.
Absolutely amazing stay! Very spacious, extremely clean! Unit had everything I needed to feel at home. Everything from the towels to the furniture seemed brand new. Customer service and responses were quick and friendly! Loving my experience with living on stand by!

We were planning to move around a fair bit this year, so Landing initially seemed like a great option for us. We reserved a lease from March to October for a great furnished 1-bedroom apartment in Arlington, VA. Initially, we were very happy with the unit and with the service from Landing. However, in early August, we received an unexpected email from Landing that our lease would end prematurely, near the end of August. Apparently Landing did not renew the master lease, and thus we would be unable to stay until our original end date. This meant that we had to rearrange travel plans that we had originally made for our original October move-out date. Customers should thus be aware that Landing may not actually have secured a lease that covers all the dates they say they have available, and thus may kick you out early. Landing did promptly refund us the unused rent. However, in my opinion this did not make us whole for all of the hassle involved in rearranging our move.
Everything was enjoyable and very beautiful. The only reason I did not leave a 5 star is because the pool was closed during the whole time and that was an amenity we looked forward so much to enjoy. No one to ask in the front desk did cause a big disappointment as we were there 3 days. It was such a nice place unfortunately it wasn’t available throughout the time of our stay. Sad!
It’s a cool idea… BUT NOT WHEN YOU DEAL WITH FRUSTRATING THINGS & NO HELP. They just take your money. Landing Does Not Check The Apartments!!!!! This is my 5th landing & it’s always something! -roaches on my food in the pantry -literally had a roach fly out of one of the vents on my head. -mold!! Mold on the vents? Really BLACK MOLD?? -locked out of my landing?! Why? I pay to live there? -no electricity when you walk in your landing? -TV & WiFi doesn’t work! This is supposed to be my home! Honestly living in a Motel 8 would be better. At least it’s clean & they have standards.
It’s a nice idea& app but if you click on a city the apartments available aren’t even in the same state.
Rented an apartment for the month. When I went to leasing office to get a pool pass the manager stated Landing never mentioned we were coming and have not sent any background information on me. Spoke with multiple Landing employees who all told me they fixed the issue. When I returned to the front office for my pool pass the leasing manger informed me that no one from landing has called, emailed or left voicemails. She kindly told us we were here illegally and should leave immediately. Lost over $1800 to Landing bc instead of helping me they deleted all our conversations, payment info and lease agreement. Now they are acting like I have never stayed with them.
I was an extended renter for them and July 2024. I got a email saying that I needed to leave by June 2024, then four days went by with no communication or being able to contact anybody and nobody contacting me back and then I find out, I have three weeks to find a new place to live.
