I downloaded the app and accepted the offer for a free trial. However, just two days later, I was charged for an annual subscription without my consent. The subscription doesn't even appear in my Apple Subscriptions. I contacted support, and the only thing they agreed to do was cancel the subscription for next year — no refund for the current charge. I wouldn’t recommend this app — their behavior is dishonest and feels like a scam. Скачала приложение, был предложен бесплатный пробный период — я согласилась. Но уже через два дня без моего согласия была списана сумма за годовую подписку. При этом в разделе "Подписки" на iPhone эта подписка не отображается. Я обратилась в поддержку, но всё, чего смогла добиться — это отмена подписки на следующий год. Деньги за текущий год возвращать отказались. Не рекомендовала бы это приложение — ведут себя, как настоящие мошенники.

Приложение просто супер! Дизайн минималистичный, всё работает стабильно без сбоев. Если бы я только больше занималась, то неплохо бы подтянула свой уровень. Приложение реально может заменить репетитора, оно показывает ошибки в построении предложение и помогает их исправить. Даже не жалко денег на полную версию, это того стоит! Короче, всем, кто хочет прокачать свои разговорные навыки, очень советую!

I’m currently learning Japanese and this app sounded exactly what I was looking for—AI conversations with structure and review based on those conversations. A perfect tool for gaining comfort with speaking! Or so I thought. The reality is that the AI “personalities” often don’t load. And I have NEVER gotten the voice to text function to work. Not once. It might work if you want to type everything in, but who wants to do that on a phone? So, if you’re interested in this app, maybe avoid it for now, but check back in a few months to see if it’s actually working properly.

Perfect speaking practice at an affordable price. Definitely gonna snag the lifetime access when I can afford it.

I purchased yesterday Langotalk-AI for a year and it only worked for one session. Today I was unable to use it because it crashed all the time. I would restart my iPhone and it would crash again. This happened like 6 times in a row. So I feel cheated with this useless app. Couldn’t contest the charge anywhere and looks like the only thing I could do was cancel the service due on Nov 30th, 2025. Do not spend your hard earned money on this app. It is a total waste of money.

It’s unfortunate there is not a ton you can do without paying, but I mean I get it its a product… I feel like if I paid for it then I would really use it and get serious about actually learning lol so maybe one day

I am amazed how accurate and how this program literally teaches you what you said incorrect and how to say it, along with advice on how to improve. It’s really helpful if you are learning how to speak but do not have someone to practice with. Technology slowly replacing people, but it’s really helpful for what it is designed for.

This is a cool app if you ALREADY KNOW 1. Characters 2. How to form proper sentences 3. Know words 4. Are intermediate-fluent This app doesn’t teach any of the above. And you constantly have to self translate what the bot is writing.
