LatentChat is ready to use right out of the box—no additional downloads required. Ask questions, brainstorm, reason, transcribe speech, add your own files and create with your customized chat companion from anywhere, even without an internet connection.
You can also use your own local LLMs by selecting your preferred open-source language models stored on your device. Depending on your needs, some models may perform better than others.
Too many nonsensical responses? With a local RAG integrated in the app, you can reduce hallucinations and give the model all the knowledge that you want.
With RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) you can easily summarize and retrieve your documents together with your LLM. Simply upload your text files, while you chat, LatentChat will look for relevant information from your custom knowledge and pass it to the language model. This means it can reference what you’ve added, reducing hallucinations and providing answers that are more specific.
Use System Prompts to personalize your conversations by providing instructions that can modify the behavior or personality of the AI. Each chat is associated with a specific system prompt, and you can save your favorites for easier reuse.
