Good for vocabulary
I would say this app is definitely made by a first language English speaker. It would be more beneficial to a second language speaker if the pictures were real and not just graphics. If you don’t know the culture then you might not understand what these graphics are in relation to real life items. Also why start with random words. Why not have beginners start with “hello”, “goodbye”, etc. This is a beautiful app but I just don’t quite understand what group of people they are trying to reach. I can’t recommend it to my students because it’s just not helpful enough.
