Learn Baybayin

ᜀᜅ᜔ ᜄᜎᜒᜅ᜔ ᜈᜒᜎᜓ! But, it’d be great if we can have the lines prevalent in modern Baybayin scripts to distinguish between e/i and o/u sounds. I think the Modern Baybayin MB17+ alphabet is a great set of characters that allows us to flexibly write Baybayin.

Mag-iisang taon ko nang ginagamit. Simple at malinis ang UI, pantay lang na sinusundan ang moderno at tradisyonal na paggamit. Ngunit tulad ng sinabi ng iba, mahirap sabihin kung kudlit o pamudpod ang ginamit sa liit. Ang "ᜃ" lang ngayon ang may dalawang "ᜃᜓᜓ" sa mga simbolo.

I got this app mainly so I could add Baybayin to my phone keyboard. I have already learned the language from a couple of books; but I do appreciate the mere existence of this app. Pros: 1. Great for learning basic Baybayin - lessons are easy to understand 2. It has both reading and writing exercises - great for practicing and refreshing your skills 3. Downloadable keyboard Cons: 1. The letters in the text field is super small - bad for visually challenged people and could hardly see if the letter has kudlit or krus kudlit. 2. The exercises use some English words spelled in Filipino, which contradicts their statement of translating a foreign word to Tagalog first before writing it in Baybayin Overall, I recommend this app and loving it!
