Incorrect furigana. If you make it so that only the furigana from the book is displayed, it does not appear correctly

Hey, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your huge work. Japanese is my second non-native language, and your app makes learning so much more enjoyable. It was a saver during my Japanese classes and now I'm just enjoying learning myself. I had to drop out because I'm moving to Osaka to live with my fiancé. So now I'm trying to reenter the immersion way of learning. I want to reach certain spoken fluency before moving on to kanji (maybe learning up to 5000 words and immersing for 500h), so this is the best tool for me. It is also hard to find solutions for MacOS/iOS, but you provided both. And honestly, it looks so much prettier that any Windows based solution i know of. I'm just incredibly happy that Manabi exists. There are some issues I've stumbled upon, but you've already resolved them, so I'm patiently waitnig for the updates (crashes after marking a word as known, problems with icloud sync). I got a bit emotional, but again, thank you so much

Imported epubs are not displayed properly. I tried to import four books and couldn’t read any of them. I only see first page at max and than text is shifting and disappears. But the idea for the app is excellent, will definitely use after bug fixing

Paid for all app functions but the function “I want to learn this” doesn’t work - everytime I try to add a meaning I want to learn it shows me an error. And that function is the most useful one for me in the app, without it it’s really hard to trek progress.

Easy to use and integrates with Anki. Whenever I see a word that I don’t know, with two taps I can get a nicely formatted Anki card added to a deck. The developer promptly fixes issues too.

Used to really like this app but the latest update constantly crashes when trying to mark anything as known. I'll change my rating if this is fixed.

This app is one of the best for reading practice in Japanese and it does so much for helping you read while tuning the difficulty to your level. The app also gets a lot of dev support, responses to bugs and feature requests is there if you navigate to the discord server for the app and they're quick to respond. 1000% recommend.

Using Manabi Reader lets me read way more efficiently and I’m seeing a huge improvement in the Japanese I’m picking up, + I’m learning faster than my classmates because of it. It’s free/cheap, easily usable, the cross compatibility between Manabi Reader and Manabi Flashcards/Anki is great, the dev is actively updating it, etc. I like to use it to read NHK’s easy news and make flashcards from new words. Definitely check it out!

While I love the functionality of the app and would definitely like to support the author, it’s just way to glitchy and buggy. It cannot handle moderate long text without lags and/or glitches. Edit: Reduced to 1 star… WAY TOO MANY BUGS. I was planning to only use the dictionary to add card to AnkiMobile… Even that doesn’t work either.. Each time you click the dictionary search bar and the app glitches out and get rid of the cursor…

Since the most recent update, it crashes on launch. I can only get the flash card half of this app to open :/ when it did work, I really enjoyed having the option of so many different things to read and having them ranked by difficulty. Very helpful study tool!
