Очень удобно изучать шахматную литературу. Программа хорошо поддерживается. Для чтения нужно знать английский.

I don’t want notifications

The app asks me to activate notifications again and again. This is a minor issue, but really annoying. Otherwise the app is great and will raise the rating to five stars once it is fixed.

Un vrai bonheur !

Enfin une application qui permet de lire des livres d'échecs avec un échiquier synchronisé ! Il existe en existe d'autres, mais c'est à ma connaissance la seule qui rassemble plusieurs maisons d'édition. Sur un ipad pro (12,9), lire le "Endgame Manual" de Dvoretsky est un vrai régal : l'app propose une mise en page basique mais soignée, ainsi que la possibilité de sauvegarder des bookmarks ! Sans cette app, lire le même livre serait un cauchemar, tant les analyses sont pléthoriques ! Pour tous les titres, des samples sont proposés, et la liste des livres disponibles est mise à jour très régulièrement

Une bonne app

Une bonne application pour se passée de livre sur les ouvertures qui son la grande partie des bouquins , L’échiquier où ont fait défilé les coûts en pdf et de bonne taille sur un iPad 9,7 . Je pense que c’est plus difficile avec une taille d’écran plus petite . Points négatifs quand je fait défiler les cous sur l’échiquier la partie de gauche ne descente pas automatiquement , pour les sous variantes , je changerai la couleur pour une question de visibilité.

Nice reading app, but limited bookstore facility

The app seems nice for reading the books. Regrettably the functionality for searching books is too limited in view of the catalogue. Also it would be nice to be able to indicate books of partnering editors (e.g. Quality Chess' Grandmaster preparation - calculation) that only exist in hardcover.

Problème ponctuel (?) : mes anciens achats ne s'ouvrent plus et l'application crashe quand j'essaye de remettre à jour les transactions.

Great content, mediocre software

The content on this is every bit as good as chessable. I am currently working on my first purchase, "is this move safe". An excellent book. The problem is the software is difficult to use and very inefficient. For example, I always want to be in quiz mode, where the solutions are not shown. Sometimes for no reason, I am put into read mode, where the answers are shown. The only way to fix that is to scroll all the way up to the top of the course, which is already a fair distance, even though I'm still in chapter 1, press the quiz mode button, and then scroll all the way down to find where I was. I tried every other button, all of which are very unintuitive in my opinion as a former software developer, and there is no other way to do this. Also, when I reopen the software, it usually loses where I left off, and I have to go hunt for it. I would call chessable professional software, and this relatively amateurish.
