Must be the best camera app I've ever tried! Shame it's so expensive though... Hope there will be some kind of discount soon, cus 999kr (€86) is more than the common person is willing to pay annually for an app, but I guess the main group of intended customers are professional photographers.
Have to say it’s pretty close to my Leica Q3! But still it’s a mobile app of course. But totally worth as a combo for those moments you don’t carry around your camera!
Bara för att det står Leica behöver inte betyda att man kan ta en förmögenhet för en app. Det är fortfarande iPhones lilla sensor man tar bilderna med.
Wow what a good app
Loved the app until todays app update causing all pictures taken after the update to be blurred and showing “unknown location”. Everything looked fine when taking the pictures, but when reviewing them afterwards they are all blurred and useless. Tried buying the premium version but issues remain. What a shame on this promising app from Leica.
The app is not there yet and will never be since IPhone sensor is not large enough to process colours across all spectrums but it’s a good effort. iPhone definitely possesses a powerful processor and after a bit of tweaking and updates the app will eventually be very good. But high contrast black and white is just majestic.
So all photos end up with being a big blur - never fully loads. Says it was shot in an unknown location and can’t delete so it seems the photos are never actually saved. Obviously not worth the sub to use this as a viewfinder. iPhone 15 Pro.
I absolutely hate subscription apps. It is a big NO for me. Even more for that app at that price it a no x 1000. Thank you but no thank you Leica.
UX is nice, clean. Love to have the “lenses” to play with as well as the Natural and Standard profiles. The natural is fantastic for portraits but… the “aperture” with the “fall off” is horrible. At times it’s really nice but at times it’s absolutely catastrophic. Please fix with an update asap.
I started using the free version of the Leica LUX Pro when I ordered a Fjorden Grip for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The free version of the app offered a few things and was worth using. Fjorden had a Christmas special for six months free on Pro upgrade for the app. When upgraded to the Pro version, I really began to see the potential of the app as well as the usefulness of the Fjorden Grip camera system. If you use the Fjorden Grip, you owe it to yourself to check out the Pro version of the Leica LUX app.
