Great app for finding affordable and great getaways in South Africa. Easy to use. Great UI & UX. Once you find your choice of accommodation — look at the accommodation’s website for reviews. If you want to rate or moan about you accommodation, may I suggest contacting the resort/B&B/guest cottage etc. rather? LekkeSlaap is a middleman/booking agent. They do not maintain the properties. And neither are they under any obligation to. You are rating the LekkeSlaap app in your review here. NOT the accommodation you stayed at.

Gotta say, I’m a bit miffed at why some people are rating their accommodation here and not the app! As a property manager, I have found the app functionality very useful while on the go. Used in combination with e-mail notifications, it provides the necessary means to process new bookings, interact with clients, and open/close rooms as needed.

The app does not send booking enquiries to my phone via SMS, they tell me there is nothing wrong!! But I do get an SMS when booking as a customer! I have tried another phone with another number but still nothing. Simply not acceptable!

Would be great if hosts had the ability to setup automated messages.

By far the best support local accommodation app for South Africans !

I have been using Lekkeslaap App for may years, however the past couple of months it has just been frustrating to use the App. Whenever you click back, after viewing a property, the ‘filter’ clears itself automatically. This means I have to reenter my filter choice and start again - especially the budget filter. The app has also closed on me numerous times and will then be offline for 30min - hour before I can open up the app again.

Definitely enjoyed my weekend stay at Serifos on 5. Thank you lekker slaap for accommodating me. Had an awesome stay at the destination. Environment was lovely and it was definitely so nice being there. Will definitely book again in future.

We are highly disgusted. Shower very dirty, food presentation very bad, ordered this morning at 09:00am arrived at 16:30 and the two pies were in the room already I suppose from that time. Linen very drab and old. Could’ve looked slightly better if they used light starch to revive. Really very disappointing. I have photos to go with review
