Letter Opener - Winmail Viewer

It was really frustrating getting winmail.dat attachments. If you’re reading this, you’ll know what I mean. Been using Letter Opener for quite a few years now on Mac, iPhone and iPad. It completely solves the winmail.dat problem without any interaction after it’s installed. It lives so quietly in the background that I forget it’s there. Letter Opener is one of the most useful pieces of software I’ve come across.

This is a classic bait and switch scam. Downloaded app to view attachments from outlook, and I have to buy premium to open them. Scam scam scam.

“Free” app to download but unusable to ready any winmail doc without paying. Delete.

I have a wonderful colleague, except for one failing trait. He is a Window’s devotee and often I can’t read the attachments he sends me, and he doesn’t see the true path to enlightenment. Letter Opener keeps the communication paths open. I recently had a problem with a new iPad Pro and it was resolved quickly. Good product and first class service For a Mac enlightenee dealing with the unwashed, Letter Opener is a necessity.

This app requires a purchase to have any functionality.

Frustration with Outlook users is finally resolved - this works perfectly! Shame it isn’t on the quick shortcut and I have to jump into “More...” and scroll, but it is fully functional and worth the $3.99 upgrade to Pro. Winner! UPDATE - added it to the favorites for apps to open attachments, so no more scrolling! Have a 5th Star!

Would not allow files to be opened on free version. Should be more clear in description.
