I thought this was something different and I want my money back please!
I’ve been using the app for a few years. I don’t need much from a journaling app so I didn’t subscribe to the premium features. I just write my entries and log my emotions for that day… until they changed the model. Now I have to pay $4.99/month to log my emotions and see them attach a color to my entry. Was it really necessary to make this a paid feature? At this point, I can just use any note taking app on my phone.
Hi I need a password for this app because I don’t want everyone my entires Please listen Patrick O’Came
Love customizable apps to create forms/templates to make an all and one go to app
I love Lifecraft! It's the best app for me that helps me to journal and have interaction with the app. The challenges and different writing prompts I really enjoy . However, I've completed all the challenges so please update the app as soon as possible . I still use it to journal and I've repeated some of the challenges - but it's definitely a keeper and I recommend it to everyone that wants to monitor ,explore and enliven their emotions and feelings.
I really do love this app. It makes journaling a joy.
This app has 4 components: Journal: The journal is simple and easy to use. You can customize the font. Entries are easy to add. You can make little drawings within the app and add photos to entries. You can link emotions with journal entries which is very nice. Emotions: I love the interface of the emotions component. It is easy to use. You can set time frames for emotions. This is useful for monitoring and self reflection. Compass: This is a daily “lesson” to guide your thinking and provides an 8 minute daily journal prompt. I enjoy this because it gives me a quick way to journal daily. Challenge: This component is almost nonexistent. There are only 5 challenges. It seems fairly useless. Considering this is 1/4 of the “program” it really kills the value/effectiveness of the process. You can track your progress in these four areas on the Dashboard. Overall, I was really excited about Lifecraft until I found out that “challenges” doesn’t offer much of anything. It seems useless. I had signed up for a year subscription but canceled when I discovered the serious limitations of the Challenges component. Lifecraft pIease develop a more robust “Challenges” category so I can change my review to 5 stars.
Regrettably, I’ve have to reduce my rating in light of the new update. I am a Pro subscriber and use the app regularly. In addition to journal entries, I used the Emotions section to save notable quotes without assigning a particular emotion to them. This allowed me to easily find the entries on the calendar because they were all in grey. When they pushed out the recent update, all of my quotes were lost! The entry dates are there but the content is empty. Two and a half years of entries gone. *sigh* ———- Previous review: I started using this app a few weeks ago and immediately loved it! I decided to upgrade to Pro so that I could use the emotions and sync between devices. A few days ago, they pushed out an update which works fine on my MacBook Pro but is very buggy on my iPhone 6. Specifically, syncing is not working properly so an entry I just made on my Mac is not showing up on the iPhone. The sync function just seems to get stuck and restarting the app does not help. Also, the new Compass feature is confusing and doesn’t really add anything IMO to what was a nearly perfect app. I hope the developers will fix the syncing issue and not clutter this lovely, simple platform with less than useful features in the future.
Two stars as a kick in the butt, although it seems to me that this app has been abandoned. No new version in a year (which means no privacy labels) and no blog posts since February 2020. It’s been a difficult year for everyone, of course, but the lack of activity doesn’t promise anything good. It’ll get a real review if/when it comes back.
