I had high hopes for Lightyear but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst financial services apps I’ve ever used. The functionality is completely unreliable—transactions fail without explanation, balances take forever to update, and the app crashes at the most inconvenient times. It’s as if the developers released an unfinished product and expected users to deal with the consequences. Customer service is even worse. If you run into an issue (which you will), don’t expect any meaningful assistance. Responses are slow, unhelpful, and often dismissive. Instead of resolving problems, they provide canned replies that don’t address the issue, making the entire experience even more frustrating. To top it off, the app seems overly restrictive in the most nonsensical ways. Simple actions like transferring money or verifying identity are subject to ridiculous roadblocks, making the whole service feel more like an obstacle course than a useful financial tool. It’s as if the app was designed to regulate users into frustration rather than provide any real convenience. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. It is an absolute disaster.

Platvorm jookseb kokku, kui on suuri uudiseid ja nt tekib müügipaanika (nt 27.1.25 jooksid nii mobiil ja desktop kokku ja mul ei olnud võimalik kaitsta oma portfelli ja kaotasin sadu dollareid…) Probleem on, et äpp läägab, kui minna iphoneis otsi nupuga alla kerides jälgimisnimekirja juurde. Ja pidevalt, ilmselt on liiga palju jälgitavaid aktsiaid jmt. Vb aitaks see, kui oleks valmidus grupeerida listidesse aktsiaid. Arvan, et süsteem ei pea vastu. Desktopi vaates ei ole seda probleemi enamasti. Ja telefonis ning nt Usa turu avanedes ka jookseb kokku v ei pea liiklusele vastu Lightyear. Ja väga paljusid häid aktsiaid pole, mis nt LHV-s on olemas. Ja põhjamaade aktsiad on puudu. Muidu väga hästi disainitud, kasutajasõbraliku kujundusega ja hingega tehtud platvorm, kus mõistlikud teenustasud võrreldes pankadega. Saab eesti keeles kasutada! Platvormi sees võiks ka olla tunda ja näha, et tagasi- ja edasiside on oodatud.

App is slow and timeouting when trying to submit limit orders

At the registration step app said that my citizenship is banned, despite the fact of my residency, but on email i got a message that additional documents are needed, I provided them and now my account is blocked without any explanation

One of many similar online brokers. They want to know everything about you. Continuously ask for different documents and as result - no service and no explanation. Customer support also doesn’t work or even doesn’t exist. Don’t waste your money and time on it.
