Love the app.

I don’t know what is going on because even in the “app purchases” the lifetime is FREE. Nope, it didn’t even choose that for me even when selected and gave me a trial. Had it not been the alert from Apple, I would’ve thought that the app went through as free for a lifetime. I got it from AppAdvice and completed the onboarding in which again, NOT FREE. Thank you Apple for the alert because I was able to cancel as well as delete the app. I do not know how it works unfortunately because that is misleading.

Absolutely love this vocabulary app! The swipeable interface makes learning new words fun and addictive - it's so intuitive that you can just jump right in. The AI-generated visuals for each flashcard really help the words stick in your memory, and the personalized feed keeps serving up relevant content. Super smooth to use for daily practice and the swipe gestures make it feel more like a game than studying. Perfect for anyone looking to build their vocabulary in an enjoyable way!

I use three different apps to study Spanish. I have found Lingopic to be an important addition to the set to assist me in learning the language. Although there are numerous apps available what I found most important was how quickly and efficiently the staff helped me problem solve in getting the app working on my iPad. Many times I have needed to contact support staff on different apps but seldom get the response I did with Lingopic.

It seems like al alfa (and costly) app. Maybe in several months or even years could worth its price and be ready to be properly deployed.

:: 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰.𝟬𝟱.𝟮𝟳 :: Thanks to a heads-up by 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲’𝘀 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙨 𝙂𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 listings, after downloading I was able to immediately partake in an upgrade to Pro via a free Lifetime IAP (𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳-𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝗨𝗦$𝟵𝟵.𝟵𝟵). After upgrading, I got the “Everything’s all set” message, and I gave it a whirl. 𝗧𝗟;𝗗𝗥 👎 :: 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 :: After adding four (maybe five) words for further flash card studying, I’m receiving a message to “Upgrade to see the translation” — However — ❶ I already have already upgraded (remember the free IAP?), and ❷ There’s no option showing anywhere in the app to do (or, in my case, re-do) the upgrade. After making your initial selections (namely your native language, the language you are trying to learn, why you are trying to learn, and your current level of knowledge regarding the language you are trying to learn), there is no way to change any of those things again. Another annoyance is that once the on-screen keyboard appears, you cannot read / see / action anything in the bottom-most portion of the screen, because the indismissable keyboard never goes away. :: 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 :: Even without the above issues, I don’t like the app interface, nor it’s teaching approach. All the app seems to do is show you a flash card session of phrases / sentences, and prompts you to tap “𝗶𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄,” or “𝗶𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁.” Either way, there’s no feedback whatsoever, or any further teaching. At the end of the session, you are shown a score of how many “𝙞𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝘴” you tapped on versus the “𝙞𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩𝘴.” During my testing, the app made no attempt to break the phrases / sentences that you don’t know into smaller pieces, give you a dictionary definition, nor mention which words are nouns vs. verbs, adverbs, etc. Shows no synonyms, or antonyms, or anything. The audio pronunciations of everything also left much to be desired. It’s obvious that a low quality text to speech conversion is occurring. The voice sounds tinny, like from the 2000’s, and the enunciation is practically nil. There are no voices (or HQ voices) to choose from. There are no playback controls other than tapping the tiny speaker glyph to play it again — most notably that the playback speed cannot be changed — and it’s stuck on fast. Wants review and I've hardly used it. I like the AI-generated artwork. (Only one set) quizzes me on Spanish words and phrases, to which I response I know/I don't know. Still need to know how to CREATE flashcards. I can create but cannot add them to folders, so I can't quiz myself on the cards I create. UI is too hard to figure out and there are no instructions. Definitely not worth the full price (got for free today)!
