My Review
I think that this app is very helpful, especially if you just want to do a quick check to see the temp and see if there is rain around before you head out. However, you have to go to Facebook if you go live with storms because when you hit the live streaming section, it tells you that the channel is not live unless you break into programming. Another issue for me is you can not layer more than one thing at a time onto the radar. Lastly the time lapse at the bottom of the screen on the interactive radar goes way too fast on the 24 outlook and the regular one only shows just a few minutes. I would like to add that when the weather is potentially bad enough that the meteorologists say we need to go live to warn people, you should break in to whatever programming is on no matter what it is. Weather can turn dangerous quickly and not everyone can get to a device but they can have the tv on. You can always replay whatever programming is on my announcing, we will replay this the next day at some late hour so they can record ot watch it. There is also the option of moving the programming to one of your other channels. Weather should always come first over programming.... unless there is a civil authority briefing on war breaking out or something like that. This is Alabama and everybody knows that even the mildest Cell can ramp up very quickly.
