Live Transcribe +

I recently lost most of my hearing and unfortunately, Live Listen doesn’t offer the ability to save conversations, Live Transcribe does. It works wonderfully. Today, I was able to easily connect it to a wireless microphone. No additional apps required. My life is better because of apps like this.

This did not work well at all on my iPhone so I ended up getting a Samsung phone and live transcribe works fantastic. Plus it’s free from android. I tried to get a refund, but no response . Very disappointed.

I thought this app was pretty good at first, but the more I used it the less I liked it. The concept is good, but they don’t fix their bugs. Five months ago, I complained about some serious problems with correcting the voice recognition issues, they still haven’t been fixed. There are things that will not get right and there’s no way to correct it with the keyboard because your corrections get erased the minute you drop the keyboard from the screen. Anything with a double S letter in it such as the word “assisted” comes up as “a**isted” .

This program skips back and forth, used wrong words, it stops for no reason and has to be started again. I don’t need all the translation language just English would be great. I have a friend and works perfectly fine on her phone.Why not my iPad?

You should be able to display copy and pasted text and edit saved transcripts, but on this app you are unable to.

This app is not reliable, I can be sitting right next to a blaring speaker and this app will not transcribe at all or; it’s a jumble of words that don’t make sense. It should be banned from the App Store.

Free on google- not on Apple phone. Very sad for deaf people and for those that are very hard of hearing.

As a deaf person it is unfair to have my rights to speak and listen closed off because I must have an upgraded or pairs subscription. It is crucial for deaf people to have to accessibility just as hearing people do. There aren’t any cost for a yearning person to listen however for the disabled there is? This needs to change. I believe there should not need to be an payed subscription for disabled people who rely on this app.

So far so good. It’s accurate when it’s quiet. Later this morning we will test its accuracy in a group with some background noise. My spouse is deaf and uses google live transcribe on an android phone, with mixed results. If this works well, we’re trading his Motorola in for an iPhone. If there is a way to get the screen to rotate, I’d love to know how, so the phone can rest on a flat surface. If not, please find a way to make that happen. Thank you.
