Trying to get out of any subscription is nigh impossible! Customer service is atrocious, and when you call (very expensive from the UK) often sound like no one there knows what they are doing. Called, told it had been cancelled, no confirmation, and them payment continues to be taken. Hate to say it but the whole business just seems off and not entirely ethical. Most of the content is on youtube for free anyway and the updated content is pretty poor - really want to give a positive review as like what the product is trying to achieve, but hopefully a better company will come along and do something similiar - without hqving to use underhanded tactics to take money from unsuspecting members of the church.

This app doesn’t family share in iOS, not paying twice.

You can’t see which is the next episode of the season you’re watching which is frustrating, you also can’t see how much of an episode you’ve watched from the front screen, also annoying.

Very good service. Love the email suggestions. Love the safety in knowing the content is appropriate.

PEOPLE LEAVE LS BEHIND AND GET BYUtv BECAUSE ITS “ACTUALLY FREE”. FOR SOME MOVIES YOU NEED TO SIGN IN WITH YOUR LDS ACCOUNT BUT OTHER THAN THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SWEAR WORDS!

There are many of the animated scripture videos I can’t even let my kids watch because we watched it to the end and now when we try to play it again, it goes back to the end and exits before we can drag the time bar back.

Though they have a good selection of movies the captions not syncing with the voices is extremely frustrating. I’m thinking it best to cancel and subscribe when that is fixed.

“Customer Service” is a joke! I downloaded the app just to leave a review after this horrible experience. After I contacted them repeatedly and was getting canned answers I finally had to call. Someone had signed up with my email address so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t charged $96 for something I’d never even heard of. Wholesome/Christian? Sure, if it’s the hateful kind of people claiming to be Christian who don’t know the difference between Christ-like behavior and judgmental. I finally had to call and I was angry because I had written repeatedly that I could not log in with the only response being, “you have an active account.” So repeating what you’ve explained over and over is infuriating. After we sorted it out, the woman at the “Christian” company said in what she thought was a whisper, “you’re not welcome.” Don’t run a scam and people won’t be angry, Krystal/Victoria (the two names given to me by the person who “helped” me)!

I tried canceling my subscription for the first time 6 months ago.its not that I don’t think their is good stuff but we just weren’t using it enough to justify and trying to scale back where we could. It however, I was given the run around saying I had to cancel through the third party I got the app from. Well, I couldn’t find where that was and they just told me it wasn’t their problem. I finally got frustrated and took a step away. Well I’ve come back and I went to their online link that they directed me to for account changes. Well I can’t even log on. It logs in just fine with the app but on their website it says there is no account with that email. Several times I tried, making sure I didn’t have a typo….. but no luck. How hard is it to just pull the credit card from file to just cancel it that way. There isn’t an option for that on our end. I have never written a bad review. I just move on and take it as a temporary loss. But this headache is costing me money now and just won’t go away. This experience outweighs what good this app can bring. If you don’t anticipate being a life long customer to this app all the way into eternity, save yourself and you posterity a headache and don’t sign up.
