Barely functional, lacks any logical flow to support buying tickets, riddled with glitches. Yet seems to be only way to purchase online parking for some stations, so forced to use it.
No rates. No clue how to pay. No clue how to add my car registration. Typical English arrogance. Lob a half-baked app at the users because they have no choice.
Loved the idea of this app, to just enter a car park and then leave while the ANPR did its thing … trouble is I parked last week overnight and it’s not clocked me leaving the car park. It’s now run up 8 days parking and counting and there’s no way to override it. I’ve emailed support twice with no response and the only advice when I finally got through to someone on the phone (who couldn’t help directly) was to pop back to the station and speak to them about it. A round trip of over 90 mins. Completely useless
When you buy a ticket, you have to input your car’s registration number to link it to your ticket. You can only link it to one ticket at a time. When you buy the next ticket, you are blocked from linking it to the new ticket because it’s still linked to the old one. You have to email them (via the app) to unlink your car registration from the old ticket because you cannot do it in the app. It takes weeks for them to do this. Once you have successfully bought and linked your new ticket, it should activate on first use (driving into car park or scanning your ticket barcode at the gate), however this doesn’t work either, so you have to email them again and it takes weeks for them to respond. I buy annual car park tickets. I had this issue last year and I had it again this year when I renewed recently. This means that these bugs have been in place for more than a year and they haven’t fixed them. Not a great app.
The app does not recognise I am in the car park. If I import a ticket it is correct an I can pay. When I get back and attempt to leave - it still wants me to pay and I pay twice. Complete and utter rubbish an a con for me.
I tried 2 of my email addresses claimed they were spam. Don’t waste your time just pay at the station.

As LNER parking cost is so complicated and difficult to work out a price in advance I gave the App a try to buy a weekly pass. It would not accept the transaction so gave up after 5 attempts. LNER please look at airport parking Apps where you can book in and out and know the cost in advance. The current system just doesn’t work. So, forced to get a taxi this time when LNER could have been making money, empty car parks tell their own story. Look at the over complicated pricing and give people an opportunity to pre book and pay, it needs a major upgrade. Until it improves I won’t use it again.
