App No Longer Working
The app is no longer working. After logging in, I'm getting an error message (Error 101), and I'm instructed to contact Customer Services at 1-888-548-7878. I called, and the lady I spoke with told me that my account was working fine on her end, and she didn't understand why I was getting the error message. She said she had to lock my credit on her end. This app has become useless for me. I just found another group of users on the social platform Reddit who are experiencing the same issues.
Captcha doesn’t work to log in
Want to freeze my credit. Experian was a very easy and user friendly app. This is not. Took forever just to create an account because the captcha would checkmark but then state there is an error when submitting my info to redo the captcha. After redoing this multiple times it has finally worked. Now I need to log in using my info and do another captcha which is also now not working even though it displays a green checkmark. Fix your app, there has been constant terrible reviews for the past 4 years.
I didn’t have any issues
I thought for sure I would have issues based off these reviews lol. To be fair, because of the reviews, I signed up on equifax site first. Then I came to the app and logged in, and got in fine. Zero issues the whole process. I hope equifax comes out with an app similar to Experian and TransUnion. That has way more features like fraud monitoring, dark web monitoring, etc. None of the ads though lol.
I didn’t want to write a review. But since the app is doing so bad in reviews and I didn’t have any problems, I felt like I had to do it lol.

It’s just easier and less hassle to log into the website. I wish this was a better app, it could be very handy. But it’s frustrating.
Terrible
App no longer allows me to log in or change log in id/password. Instead it refers me to a 800 phone number resulting in a 45 min call where I answer countless identity questions, up load my license, confirm credi and loans opened and balances only to be told Equifax can’t verify my identity and refuses to in lock my credit report. I’m now forced to rely on the NYS Attorney General’s Office. The app is worthy and the customer service is the worst. They simply don’t care.
Total Let Down
Tried using and my sign up with their website is useless. So I had to sign up through their app or at least I thought. Tried doing a sign up through the app but it would not allow, kept getting an error. Was Captcha section was not working and would not allow to redo Captcha. Tried several time to sign up via app and kept having same problem. App is garbage, I had no problem with other two credit company apps. Don’t know why we can’t just use our login from website for their app. They need to get with the times and consolidate. What a disappointment.
Completely useless, can’t create an account
The app fails with a recaptcha error each time I try to create an account. I’ve tried with Apple’s private relay off and my Norton VPN off with the same result.
Update: received a response from the developer that they take feedback seriously more than a month after the review. I thought maybe they fixed something, but nothing has changed. Still can’t creat an account with the app. Still fails with a recaptcha error that says to resubmit and the resubmit also fails. So much for taking feedback seriously. By the number of 1-star reviews of this app I suspect they don’t really care if it works.
