Review update
My first review of this app from 4 years ago still appears here, which was very favorable for this app. But after mostly using Garageband for the majority of my iOS music productions since that review, I recently decided to try the app again. To cut to the chase, the app is fun to use in some ways but a pain to use in others. As one who doesn't want to get caught up in the money pit of buying Retronym's various music packs, I choose to import loops from my phone's files to use in Looperverse. It is doable but is not at all convenient, in that I have to convert the files via Audioshare to be useable in the app, which is a process with several steps. But, if you just want a simple looper to record song ideas without any EQ support (not even simple treble, bass, etc), this is a fun app in that you when you hit record, it will record a track then automatically record the next track once you reach the end of the preset loop length. I don't know of other looping apps that do that so that's a positive feature and kind of addictive. I would, however, love to see this app redesigned to play well with external apps and effects as well as being able to easily import loops from my device, as previously mentioned. The interface could definitely use a redesign because it's so easy to hit the wrong button when simply trying to scroll out the volume panel on the left side. There's a lot of potential here to have a superb looping app but it will definitely need changes to get there.
