Lumin PDF

When I started using Lumin, it was free unless you wanted to sign a PDF document. I only wanted to use it to edit a single D&D chacter sheet. It worked well for this. But without any warning, after a year, it locked me out of my file labelling it "expired" and stating I now need to pay for an account ($30/month!) to access the file. What is worse, there is no way to pay for the account from within the app. I find this to be an incredibly predatory behavior by Lumin, essentially holding peoples' data hostage unless you pay. I would never recommend this kind of service to anyone; $30/mo. is highway robbery for most users.

I was working on an assignment for class, and this stupid app completely deleted all the work i did. On top of that when i tried to upload my assignment to my professor, it deleted half of the work i wrote because for some reason it couldn't sync. Highly don't recommend!!!!

It’s a good working app, helps me fill out online forms but 30 dollars is crazyyyyyy

The absolute imbeciles at Nitrolabs decided to release this garbage excuse for an app. It deletes hours of progress simply because I made a typo. The only reason this app exists is because there is no competition. Oh wait, there is. Stop using this app. All I have to say is that calling this a dump is an insult to dumps.

This app is perfect except when it’s not. Every time I’m highlighting on my iPad with the Apple Pencil, it glitches and freezes for a solid 30 seconds before unfreezing, then repeats freezing. I can’t even highlight my class notes properly - PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Doesnt work

I contacted lumin months ago to cancel my subscription and instead of cancelling it they send me an email asking about it and continue to charge me without my realizing. I want my money back. I made my account to look at a pdf my sister sent me and forgot about it, then I find out they’ve charged me 270 dollars over 2 years for a service I do not use. They profit off hoping you won’t realize they’re taking your money

The only problem I’ve found so far is the work doesn’t always save after my kids complete it.

Extremely frustrating and takes so long to learn how to do simple functions like undo and formatting is just so difficult. Great idea but horrible product. Also the process to unsubscribe was extremely difficult as well and I think they do this on purpose so they keep making money off you.

We were just trying to do some testing on the app. It keeps kicking us out and deleting our work. It’s super slow. Wouldn’t recommend!
