Until version 8.1 this app was beautiful, but in my case not very useful. I wanted to ‚explore‘ the sky virtually with this app. Up to version 8.1 lots of stars of course could be seen, but nebulas or star cluster just used to be visible as symbol without a real image. With version 8.2 tons of images placed on the correct place in the sky are waiting to be spotted by you! Amazing, beautiful and motivating. Well done!

Als angehender Hobbyastronom habe ich ein paar Planetarium Apps ausprobiert und war mit keiner 100% zufrieden. 100% sind's auch hier nicht, aber 95%. Besonders nützlich finde ich das Feature, dass man Teleskope und Okulare anlegen kann und dass in der Ansicht den Bildausschnitt markiert hat, den man mit der jeweiligen Kombination sehen kann.

I am always amazed at the information I get from this app. Very well written.

Here are some things for a update 1. Add historical constellations also 2. Add nations adding nations when we search it up we can see the borders 3. Add exoplanets it’s a great idea to add those. I rate this a 5/5 because it’s a good astronomical app

Luminos is the primary planetarium program for all my astronomy and astrophotography planning and observing. Excellent program for novice and advanced astronomy enthusiasts.

Sorry to see it will be discontinued in 2023.
