M-Protekt GOLD

It does none of the things it claims to do. There are such massive delaying in locating the car. The service is appalling. When called to find out why I was not receiving notifications, the man was so disinterested and completely unhelpful. I did everything I was advised to do on my end and still nothing. Cannot believe this company is still functioning in any capacity. Biggest waste of money.

I don’t know why I paid for this. The system looks rudimentary and the app my car came with can locate it quicker than M-Protekt. My husband was driving my car home and we were on the phone … M-Protekt was still showing my car location at the shopping centre he’d left 15 minutes prior! M-Protekt does not do what the dealership promised and sold me on. Disappointing.

Can’t locate my car but still paid for the service

Had fitted to a Golf R that I had traded in. Dealer rang me 3 months later at 8.30 am to ask if I still had app to track the car as it was stolen overnight from their showroom. I did and it resulted in arrests and car recovery by 9.30 am. Good news I Reckon. Melbourne, Australia.

My vehicle has been in my garage for about 7 hours but still shows as about 30 km away - accuracy hasn’t improved!

I’ve had this system for a year now as it was a package deal when I brought my new car but apparently it hasn’t work since it was put in so I’ve been told as I renewed it three weeks ago and was why I couldn’t find my car. I’ve had it looked at by the car yard that I bought it off and they can’t find out why it’s not working. They sent an email off to the people that make it and I’ve also sent an email to these people and to date we have not heard from anyone for a week. Not happy

Hands down biggest waste of money. System and app is not user friendly at all. Cars fall off the system, it’s not even simple to name your vehicles.
